Even if babies are not the alarm clock.
Or maybe especially because...shhh, don't tell our hubbies.
Saturday we had a list of options and settled on a long breakfast at a fabulous establishment sharing 3 delicous versions of organic vegi omletttes and second hand shopping to the max. We all came home with bags of treasures and our wallets and stomachs full.It was when we got home on Saturday evening that the real sharing began...
We were in our pj's by 6 pm, our eyes filled with laughter and tears, and sometimes laughter WITH tears as we re-lived our lives since our last meeting in Minneapolis last March.
Although daily, I wish we lived next door to each other, the time and space between lets us share our drama after the fact, which gives us back our sense of humor that was perhaps lost in the moment.
I played master DJ mixing up tunes of from our past, and sharing our new inspirations.
This in itself is a magical theraputic release.
Not to mention the love, guidance, and support that was given and received.
So what if we can't stay up until bar time, (even at home) anymore?
