Friends,
Way back when at the end of summer D and I took the day off to meet the girls' teachers.
Then we surprised them with a Family Day
at Great America!
Look at this video and guess which on is mine?
Here's clue:

We missed out a real vacation this summer,
so this day off was a treat for us all.
We stayed from open until close!
We met up with Shooty's family
and stole Ruby and Nico for a few hours.
These two are some of the girls' oldest friends.
A Day at a theme park, even though its not Disney,
is still pretty magical,
right here in Gurnee, Illinois!
