Zoo Membership!

We joined the zoo!

Not that we are going to live there, or anything like that, because we have a house... and stuff.

But we will BELONG there, having THE MEMBERSHIP card and everything.

Where's the circus tent, and at what time will our Lowe Family Act go "Live"?

Just kidding. No showtime, what's in it for us?

For starters Mother's Day.

So far, we have learned compassion, as an eagle is there with a broken wing.

Eagles are Papa's favorite. We know that.

So we thought long and hard about this eagle with the broken wing.

And we measured our own. Wingspan. And power.

We had a lesson in compassion again as we were on a playground with all sorts of human species, spreading (our wings) our peaceful hopes for the all living creatures. Easy to wear, harder to "play" out.

Meaning... this is my fake smile when Darin told me they wait was too long and the food was too expensive and I would not be getting my much desired cheeseburger and beer at the zoo today.
On Mother's Day of all days.
