The children were nestled all snug on the floor...

Friends,

Darin was out of town for work this week.

This had me completely overwhelmed.

I let the kids sleep on my floor.

I didn't even have the energy to put them to bed.

Or to stay up after their bedtime.



 

I loved our quiet house in the night.

Going to bed together with our books.

I love the kids sleeping next to me.

I love the pillow talk we have,

all snuggled in next to each other before we turn off the light.

What is the magic with girls and slumber parties?

I still feel it!
