Happy 40th Birthday to me, Friends!

I arrived in Costa Rica,

with my besties Cathie and Julie,

and their families.

 

 We stayed at the Westin in Playa Conchal.

It was beautiful.

It was all inclusive, so

we just dialed zero for anything we wanted,

at any time.

 

What a treat!

 Planning and booking the trip,

was a challenge.

 

With 11 people there were lots of

opinions and ideas.

 

But once we booked it and got there.

We were there.

Living La Pura Vida!

 Arriving was an adventure,

our first international trip with the kids.

But within 1/2 day we landed at the beach.

 With the most beautiful sunsets,

I have ever seen.

 My besties and I had been planning

an adult girl trip only,

but after Amy's passing,

decided life is short,

we should take a dream trip together

with our families.

 

Turns out, we were right.

 We did a few excursions,

but most days were spent between the pool and the beach.

And the swim up pool bar,

where the kids had unlimited

Dirty Monkey's, Pina Coladas,

and Miami Vices.

LOL!

 The food was fresh and delicious.

 The sunsets were the best,

rivaled only by the friendly nature of the people.

 

We learned so much from the people.

Live simple and be happy.

Its really as easy as that.

For one week with full service,

we allowed ourselves to just be happy.

 

Such a gift we have promised to bring home with us.
