Change in plans

Hi Friends!

We had plans to be in Lodi with our

sisters/cousins/friends last weekend,

but it didn't work out.

The only way to make this up to a heartbroken Lily, was to suggest she invite a friend over.

Lucky for me, Amelia agreed.

 

 Charlotte and I had to share a friend, Jennifer.

Shy Charlotte takes a long time

to warm up to most people

(including me when I return from time away)

Within minutes of Jennifer's arrival,

Charlotte was on her lap.

And didn't leave her spot all weekend.

 This was perfect for me,

because I got to look at two of my favorite faces,

while winning my favorite game LIVE,

with my Words With Friends competitor.

 

 

 Sometimes when plans don't work out,

they work out exactly as they should.
