Friends,
We have a plot of land in our neighborhood,
and we turned it into a Community Garden.
I am so delayed in posting this,
here's a before picture,
on the day we planted.
I can't wait to show you the after!
Its been wonderful for the kids.
We let them walk there alone
(2 blocks away)
They bring us back mint and basil.
Coming soon will be:
cantaloupe, cucumbers, radishes, carrots, onions, peppers, tomatoes, lettuce
and strawberries!
We already had one beautiful strawberry.
I think that was the first
and the last strawberry we will get.
The rest is growing like weeds!!!
Pun intended.
It is so fun to watch our garden grow!
