The Graduate

Friends,

Charlotte graduated kindergarten!

 

I was a little annoyed

at the Pomp and Circumstance

since she just "graduated" preschool last year.

 

I played along, as a good mom should.

 

I was surprised by how touching the ceremony

and milestone really was.

 

It was a big deal.

 

The kids performed an impressive show

for the parents.

 

 

They recited all the US Presidents,

sang at least 10 songs, performed a play,

shared the life lessons they learned

(its best to hold hands and stick together!)

and much more.

 

I was proud of all Charlotte learned this year.

 

During the show, there were times,

when my shy-ish Charlotte

was singing THE LOUDEST.

 

Oh how it made me smile!

 

She also developed many good friendships.

 

 

 

On to first grade...
