A Gauthier Christmas

My parents had planned to visit family in WI and make the drive back to CO from there.  On our last night together they decided to change plans and invited us to go with.  Charlotte and I took them up on the offer.  Darin was unable to go because of work obligations and Lily was too scared Charlotte would get sick in the car again.  The drama.  That, and the other drama, she didn't want to leave her stage.  So it was strange to be separate, but it was also nice to have alone time with Charlotte and for my extended family to get to know her, without Big Sis.
We had a wonderful dinner at Mariners in Madison with Sue, her friend Ed, and Paul's brother, Uncle Larry.
The food was amazing.

The company was fun as the food was delicious.
They don't have these down home, family owned, supper clubs in the Chicago burbs.  The waitstaff made us feel like one of the family.  I loved it!
Plus, the Gauthier clan is a perfect balance of smart conversation and raunchy jokes.
It was so nice to be together.
We had a sleep over at Auntie Sue's and she let Charlotte do her hair.
Thanks for the good time and letting us crash the party on a last minute notice!
